I have mentioned before that there is another game after Simulacra. It has a similar concept of the previous games so I suggest you read the blog post, you don’t have to, it’s your choice.

Another Simulacra game by the game developer Kaigan Games OÜ. This has been the third game in the SIM game series. Unlike the previous Simulacra games, this time, the game does not focus on a missing phone. But instead, it focuses on a good friend of yours. And there aren’t many horror elements, with the exception of the jump scares from the random ads.

Like the previous games, it is a horror text adventure game where it is all taken place on a phone. But this phone doesn’t belong to a missing person, it belongs to you. As previously mentioned, there aren’t many horror elements to the game. There were some ads and some creepy footage shown from the “ads” which can randomly appear throughout the game. There was also this voice that appears when the text looks gloomy and in the Flappee Bird game

Your best friend, Teddy was feeling gloomy after an interview at a job and felt like his life was falling apart. He takes playing this game called Flappee Bird (a crappy knockoff) as a stress reliever and soon became addicted, blacking out playing the game and spending a lot of time on it. You try to help him and talk him out of this depressive state but the only way you can help him is to play the game.

A few things I’ve noticed while playing the game is that after talking to Ted for a while and downloading playing Flappee Bird, you can call Ted and instead of Ted talking, you could hear the music of the Flappee Bird game. Even when you finish the game, the music can still be heard in the call. Spoopy.

It was interesting to see something different out of the series. I guess it could be similar to the other games, considering the real Ted is missing and someone else was controlling him. In Flappee Bird, you pretty much have to get more eggs to play after the first round due to the hard-to-get positioning of the pipes, but it is not impossible if you remember the pattern (which I couldn’t). You could buy the eggs with your life, but I was being cheap and watched ads (it took forever)
