Fornite vs similar games(part 1)

This is going to be a small series of me talking about games that are similar to Fornite. But it would mostly be about battle royale games. There will be a link just in case if you want to know a bit more about the game because I will only be briefly explain the game and compare to see what each game have and what is different from the other games. Lastly, there will be a finale part that is pretty much a conclusion that compares everything. So look forward to that!

We all know the most popular game is Fortnite. You see it every where like YouTube, twitch streams, and more. But I have noticed there are also a lot of similar battle royale games, which you can try out and play when the servers are down.

Fortnite

First off, let’s talk a bit about Fortnite. It was released on July 25, 2017. It is available on PlayStation 4, Android, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, IOS, Macintosh operating systems, and Microsoft Windows. Currently, there are 2 game modes.

The first game mode is Save the world, which is a co-op game mode there are zombies like husks. There was a storm which caused 98% of the populations to disappear. Players will have to collect resources, save other players, and defend equipment. From missions, players are rewarded with in-game items

The second game mode is Fornite battle royale, where up to 100 people compete. You can either play alone or in a team of 2 or 4. First you will be dropped for the bus(don’t forget to thank the bus driver). Then you scavenge for weapons, items, and resources. Be careful of other players and the storm. The safe zone will get smaller as the storm comes closer in so the players will have to pay attention to that on the map.

PUBG(Player Unknown BattleGround)

We have another well-known game, PUBG. It was release before Fortnite on March 23, 2017. It is available on Microsoft Windows, Xbox one, Android, and iOS. There are different maps and different modes like arcade, arcade mode-war, and training grounds.

It is similar to Fornite’s battle royale mode but there no need to get resources to build, because you can’t build :/ In PUBG, you will need to get a backpack in order to collect more things, and you’ll have to get armor and helmet to protect yourself. You can play in third person or in first person in the classic mode. A thing I like about PUBG is that the doors can be opened automatically.

I know I missed a lot of things in this blog but I will edited this when I notice I have missed something.
